About Us
Founders
Barney's Farm Sanctuary was founded by Allison and Shaun in 2016. BFS began in Florida and recently relocated to Franklinton, LA. This 30 acre sanctuary provides a temporary or permanent home to almost 50 animals!
Sanctuary for All
We take in abused, neglected, unwanted animals. Some are unadoptable due to behavior or health problems. Many of our animals are permanent residents at the sanctuary.
Get Involved
We love volunteers! Duties include scooping manure, cleaning enclosures, grooming horses, socializing goats/sheep/dogs/cats, assisting with husbandry such as hoof care, walking dogs, feeding and much more! Please call or message us on Facebook for more info!
